On 19.01.2025, a joint meeting of both parties and their guardians was held at the office of “Dispute-Eater.” During this meeting, both parties mutually agreed to a one-time settlement. As per the agreement, the husband committed to paying a total sum of ₹10,00,000 as a full and final settlement.
It was decided that: –
- An initial payment of ₹2,00,000 would be made at the time of the first motion.
- The remaining ₹8,00,000 would be paid at the time of the final judgment.
The first motion was filed on February 17, 2025. After recording their joint statement, the wife received a cheque for ₹2,00,000 from the court.
Before filing the second motion petition, a final meeting was held at the office of “Dispute-Eater” to ensure that all issues were resolved. Both parties and their guardians were physically present. They firmly denied any possibility of reconciliation and reiterated their decision to separate.
During this meeting, the wife raised a concern regarding the return of her Stridhan. Since transporting all her belongings from Bangalore to Muzaffarpur was impractical, the value of her Stridhan was assessed at ₹3,00,000. To settle this issue, the husband agreed to pay an additional ₹3,00,000 at the time of the final judgment on the second motion petition.
Thus, the husband committed to paying a total amount of ₹11,00,000 at the time of the final judgment Through Demand Draft.
In this manner, the dispute between the parties came to a Full-Stop.
